Image of sheet 20020210 photo 19: Neuenburg 2002 Die Expo.02 war die 6. Schweizer Landesausstellung und fand vom 15. Mai bis zum 20. Oktober 2002 im Drei-Seen-Land statt. Die Ausstellung bestand hauptsächlich aus fünf Arteplage genannten Ausstellungsgeländen, welche an den Seeufern der Städte Biel/Bienne, Murten, Neuenburg und Yverdon-les-Bains ausschliesslich für die Dauer der Exposition errichtet wurden; die fünfte Arteplage war eine umgebaute Kiesbarke, Arteplage mobile du Jura genannt, die zwischen den restlichen Arteplages verkehrte. Dabei vertrat jede Arteplage einen der fünf Organisations-Kantone Bern, Jura, Freiburg, Neuenburg und Waadt. Expo.02 was the 6th Swiss national exposition, which was held from 15 May to 20 October 2002. The exposition took place around the lakes of Neuchâtel, Bienne/Biel and Morat/Murten. It was divided into five sites, which were called Arteplages, due to the proximity of the water (some sites were actually partially or totally built on the water). The five Arteplages were located in Neuchâtel, Yverdon-les-Bains, Morat/Murten, Biel/Bienne and on a mobile barge traveling from one site to another. The barge represented the canton of Jura, which does not have access to any one of the three lakes. Switzerland Schweiz 2002
